FAQs

Question

Can I attend the church ceremony if I’m not Catholic?

Answer

Absolutely! We would be honored to have you join us for the ceremony, regardless of your faith or background. Please know that all religions and beliefs are welcomed and respected in the church. While the ceremony is a traditional Catholic mass, participation is not required—feel free to simply sit, listen, and enjoy the service. However, the most important part of the day for us is simply having our loved ones present to witness our vows.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is late-summer elegance with relaxed brunch-party vibes. The ceremony will be held in a Catholic church, followed by an outdoor backyard reception, so we recommend attire that is polished yet comfortable — lightweight fabrics, midi/maxi dresses, dressy separates, linen suits, and comfortable shoes are all great choices. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing shades of HOT PINK and ORANGE.

Question

Is the ceremony exactly at 1:45pm?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm. We ask that guests arrive between 1:40-1:45pm to have ample time to park and find their way inside the church and settle down.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is plenty of street parking available near the church as well as by our home. We recommend you park on the intersection of Shonnard Pl and Park Ave as our home's street can sometimes be full.

Question

Where will the reception be?

Answer

Our reception will take place in the backyard of our new home. We are excited to welcome you. Our home is about an 8 minute walk from the church where our ceremony will be.
