Kalmar is a city on the Baltic Sea in southeastern Sweden. It boasts a charming and historic city center, with small shops and cafés nestled along cobbled streets and alleyways. The coastline offers wonderful opportunities to enjoy nature—whether you're in the mood for a walk, some exercise, a swim, or simply to relax. And best of all, Öland is just a bridge away. Our story begins in Kalmar, and so this city will always mean the world to us. We are excited to share some favorite spots and activities with you!

Kalmar Beach

A beautiful park & beach by the castle. We especially love going down to the pier for a night swim!

Stensö

Stensövägen, Kalmar, Sweden

A MUST SEE in Kalmar and one of our favorite spots. This is a beautiful nature reserve that is not too far from the city center. Kalmar Kanotklubb

One of our favorite activities in Kalmar is to rent canoes or kayaks here and paddle down around the castle and back through the canals. Strongly recommend a tour of Kalmar by sea!!
