Beacon Farmers' Market
This farmers market is open 10am–2pm every Sunday! There is also a flea market elsewhere in town on Sunday.
Hike Mt. Beacon (Casino Trail)
Hike 1,000 vertical feet to the top of Mt. Beacon where you'll get stunning views of the Hudson valley and town below! This is a moderately difficult 2.3 mile round trip hike straight up the mountain to the site of an old casino. You can see the ruins of the old cable car station that was used to bring guests up to the casino here.
Dia Beacon Museum
Occupying a former Nabisco box-printing factory on the banks of the Hudson River, Dia Beacon presents the majority of Dia’s collection of art from the 1960s–present as well as special exhibitions, new commissions, and public and education programs.
Fishkill Farms
We went here last summer to pick berries and cherries. This is a great pick-your-own farm that always has something in season to pick!
