Most services will be handled by the villa company, so most expenses will be billed at the end of our stay. What We're Covering

Answer

Accommodations at the villa will be covered by the couple and their families. Please plan to cover your own general spending and everything else covered below. We'll of course cover the reception dinner and 2 cocktails per person. Have cash (Thai Baht) ready for the cocktail bar if you want more!

We are working with the villa company to book a catamaran trip one of the days. The cost will be ~$100-150 per person.

Meals will be provided by the villa's in-house chef (except on days/nights we aren't at the villa). International breakfast is complimentary and served daily. Lunch and dinner are served buffet style for the entire group upon request. You can also request snacks and single dishes throughout the day. Please plan to contribute to 2-4 lunch and dinner buffets during the trip, plus any meals we arrange outside of the villa. Lunch buffet: 380 Thai Baht per person ($11) Dinner buffet: 550 Thai Baht per person ($16) Snacks and single dishes: 100-350 Thai Baht each ($3-10) Drinks (soda, alcohol, tea, coffee): 40-90 Thai Baht ($1-3)

Travel On Phuket

Answer

We'll likely spend most of our time at the villa, but for any group travel during the trip we'll utilize the villa's shuttle which has a very low fee. Phuket's ridesharing apps, Grab and Bolt, are also an option.

Passports

Make sure you have a valid passport! Thailand requires that your passport is valid 6 months after your arrival date (in our case, your passport needs to be valid through ~May 8, 2026). US Passport processing times are currently 4-6 weeks.

Melanie and Jaemin will be married in a private ceremony later this year. We'll have our reception on Sunday, November 9 at the villa and use the remainder of the trip to celebrate with our family and friends as newlyweds!
