Well, the size of our Capitol is just further proof that the statement is accurate! The Texas Capitol is the 6th tallest state capitol building in the United States and it dwarfs the National Capitol in Washington D.C. by more than 15 feet.
The Austin Bats are Austin's most popular visitor attraction. The Congress Avenue bridge spans Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin and is home to the largest urban bat colony in North America known as the Congress Bridge Bats. This colony is estimated at 1.5 million Mexican free-tail bats.
