Things To Do

We are so excited to share our favorite restaurants and activities in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area! We will continue to update this list as we think of more ideas.
The Green Zone

The Green Zone

2226 18th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

We went here on our first date. This middle eastern cocktail bar is located in northwest Washington, DC in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. Our favorite drink is the mint lemonade. If Maya is your server, tell her we sent you!

2 Amys

2 Amys

3715 Macomb Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20016

2 Amys is one of our favorite Neapolitan pizza restaurants in the area. It is near the National Cathedral, too!

Perry's Restaurant

Perry's Restaurant

1811 Columbia Road Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

Wonderful sushi/Asian fusion restaurant, also in the Adams Morgan neighborhood (where we had our second date). We recommend making a reservation for this restaurant. Try the “Harasu” Hako Sushi roll!

National Mall

National Mall

Washington, DC

If you are looking for a touristic activity, visit the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and Capitol along the National Mall in the heart of Washington, DC.

Georgetown

Georgetown

M St NW, Washington, DC 20007

We highly recommend visiting one of Washington, DC's prettiest neighborhoods, Georgetown. There are endless shops, restaurants, and cocktail bars (especially on M Street and Wisconsin Avenue). Some of our favorite spots are Blank Street for coffee, Yellow for Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, and Van Leeuwen for ice cream! This neighborhood is also home to Georgetown University.

Bethesda Row

Bethesda Row

4827 Bethesda Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814

Visit Bethesda Row, a charming shopping center right next to the Hyatt and Marriott hotels. Stop by our favorite cafe Maman for a coffee and a quick bite to eat!

National Gallery of Art

National Gallery of Art

Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20565

Washington, DC is filled with museums and activities (with free entry!). Some of our favorites include the National Gallery of Art, the Archives, the Hirshhorn Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the Library of Congress.

Old Town Alexandria

Old Town Alexandria

King Street, Alexandria, VA

Old Town Alexandria is a lively neighborhood in Virginia with a beautiful waterfront. We recommend taking a stroll through the neighborhood, visiting the shops, and grabbing a bite to eat. Ada's on the River, an upscale steakhouse, is one of our favorite restaurants in this area!
