Melanie and Bethany became fast friends during their sophomore year at Auburn. One day in Differential Equations Class, Melanie turned to a girl she'd seen in some of her classes and said, "Hey. Have you done the Thermo homework yet? I'm Melanie by the way." This pair has been two quirky peas in a pod ever since. Key word there: Quirky. Bethany is the former Miss South Carolina Supranational, former Miss North Charleston, and a model.
Graham Nelson
Best Man
The best man is Gehrig's little brother. He enjoys being a part of an online video game clan as well as goofing off at all times. Graham is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in Building Sciences at Auburn University.
Tekisha Rice

Melanie met Tekisha during a Human Odyssey course at Auburn. Tekisha's dog Jojo and Melanie's dog Aero became dog besties during college. Their mom's scheduled regular playdates. Unfortunately Tekisha and Jojo now live a world away in Illinois, but Melanie and Aero still facetime them on a weekly basis. Tekisha currently pursuing her PhD in Human Development and Family Studies at University of Illinois.
Sam Long

Sam and Gehrig were roommates in college. Outside of class, they played basketball and spent hours video gaming. Sam is currently an engineer for Four Star Freight.

Meet Melanie's baby cousin. If you think Melanie is sassy...wait till you meet this bombshell. The two commiserate over makeup and all things glam when they are together. Jazzmyne is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of South Alabama.

Jim and Gehrig were roommates in college. Jim enjoys awkward situations, playing chess, and making fun of Bammers. Jim is currently working with Raytheon as a engineer.

Alyssa is the youngest sister to the groom. She enjoys taking pictures and being in pictures and is always down for sipping on a Venti Iced Skinny Hazelnut Macchiato, Sugar-Free Syrup, Extra Shot, Light Ice, No Whip at Starbucks. She is pursuing a counseling degree at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.

Gehrig and Paul studied finance in college. Paul is currently pursuing his Masters degree at Georgia Tech in Building Science and Construction.

Kirsten is the oldest of the Nelson girls. She has a servant's heart and a sweet sense of humor. She enjoys hosting parties and volunteering with her church. Kirsten and her husband, Dean are currently living in South Carolina while he finishes up Seminary School.

Gehrig and Stratton met at Watermark Community Church in Dallas, Texas. Unfortunately, Stratton went to Texas A&M, but that's been forgiven because Auburn is better. Stratton currently works as a project manager for Pogue Construction in Dallas.
Rozell Harris

Mr. Harris hates taking pictures. Let's see how he makes it through the wedding weekend. Mr. Rozell is the Manager of the Supply Chain Contracts Compliance Group at Southern Nuclear in Birmingham.
Brent Nelson

Brent is all about Alabama football (still trying to convert him to rooting for Auburn). In addition to all things Alabama, he has also been known to pose as an amateur actor on occasion as well as enjoys Christmas caroling. A fantastic model of a man who knows what it means to serve and love his family and friends. Brent works for Wyclffe Associates.

Sandra and Melanie have been best friends since they first met 25 years ago. Sandra is a claims representative with Social Security.
Casandra Nelson

Cass enjoys travelling with Brent now that all her kids are out of the house. She also enjoys substitute teaching at the elementary school near their home in Birmingham. She has one of the best legacies that a mother can have: her kids love and look up to her.
