We met at Harper and Rye on Polk St in San Francisco. Melanie was in line to get a drink at the bar and Eamonn came up to her and asked where she got her Claddagh ring. We immediately started talking about Ireland and pubs and places we liked to go on Shoppe St in Galway. We ended up going to a wine bar to talk more about our families, interests, and the like. We ended the night by getting a burger and "chips" at Grub Steak-- and we both knew it wouldn't be the last time we'd see each other. We were both pretty smitten that night and went on our first date 2 days later. The rest is history!
