Melanie & Chad's love story began in the summer of 2021 on a dating app you may have heard of called "Bumble" where the women are the ones who message first. Melanie was about to delete the app and give up on dating for a while when a handsome blonde wakeboarding caught her attention. Once she opened his profile and saw him smiling with a cute puppy, she was sold. Melanie was bold and sent Chad a flirty message saying "Hi" with a winky face. From there, it was history! Chad asked Melanie to be his girlfriend on October 16, 2021. Since then, the past 4 years have been filled with unconditional love and exciting adventures, including Chad's big decision to join the Navy. This was a huge milestone in their relationship, as it tested their love while living across opposite sides of the country for a year! Through it all, their love never waivered and they spent countless hours writing heartfelt letters to one another and making phone calls every day (once he was allowed to have his phone back). Chad and Melanie wasted no time moving in together once he returned home. As the years have gone by, their love for one another has grown everyday. They love to spend time together on nice dinner dates, with their favorites being Korean BBQ and Sushi spots! They also love using their season passes at Universal Studios when they have a free weekend and spending time in Harry Potter World with a cold butterbeer in hand. Any other free days are usually spent visiting with friends and family, traveling, or lounging at home with their new addition, Ziggy (their 1-year old kitten). Now, this takes us to December 14, 2024. Melanie was heading down to Temecula to spend a girl's weekend away with her friends, when she was surprised with the greatest day of her life. Chad planned the most romantic surprise proposal, lakeside at Melanie's favorite winery in Temecula. It was absolutely magical, and of course, she said yes!! This brings us to today, where the future Mr. & Mrs. Wilson cannot wait to have you at their wedding to witness the bringing together of two families and the beginning of their lives together, forever.
