Yeehaw, we’re eloping!

We met in October of 2013, and became really good friends when our groups introduced us. Mel would stay with Chad when she was working in Vegas, and even got her dog Nollie from him (should have known he was the love of her life at that point). After keeping in touch through the years Chad finally moved back to Utah. One day we went shooting together as friends, and let’s just say, he looked really good doing it. That’s pretty much when we thought, "Okay. This could be something."

It only took about 6 months of being together for Chad to get down on one knee. We were running on no sleep, after a 12 hour drive to San Fran. We drove through the fog to a find a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, and found a place to “take a photo”. Next thing we knew we were engaged! We immediately went to get pizza, champagne, and some scratch cards before heading back to the room to celebrate. Guess you could say we were feeling lucky.
