Kelsie and Melanie started out as cousins but ended up as the best of friends. The friendship truly became solidified during their time at gymnastics instructors camp where they made the greatest of inside jokes. These two always found a way to make their time together adventurous no matter what the weather or day would bring, including but not limited to almost being struck by lightening, getting lost on car rides in cities they didn't know (thank god for gps these days), and long hikes where snowshoes were an afterthought. Yes, these two live on the edge, but they always have fun!

Melissa and Melanie’s love for each other is a tough one to describe. Melissa and Melanie met through a beloved friend and really got to know each other one day after walking home from school to Miranda’s house and waiting for her to get there. While waiting for Miranda, the silly pair made up a song/game using water bottles as their tools. Ever since then, their silly hearts couldn’t be kept apart, near or far.

Kendel and Melanie met through their beloved friend, Melissa. Their friendship grew over the years and into high school, from Barnstormers (drama club) to watching Smallville on repeat, their love for each other could not be contained. Finally, their trips to Lakewood Park where they would sit on the break wall and talk about life have made their friendship grow into what it is today.

Melanie met Miranda at the tender age of 5 years old. Miranda and her sister were “chalking” outside on the sidewalk and Melanie asked if she should play with them. From then on they played together as much as possible as kids, made silly videos, dolls, and watched scary movies. As they grew older distance tried to keep them apart with college, study abroad trips, and living across the country. Fortunately, some friendships really do last forever and can weather any storm! Today they still talk, love, and support each other in spite of the distance.

Leah and Melanie first met on Giel avenue through Miranda. Their friendship grew through high school dances, sleepovers with the Sims and home movies and harry potter midnight premires, a true nerd couple they were. The monotonous mornings in the Soneson household before high school, we'd share cantalope, laughter, and love. In adulthood, they don't let the distance get to them and continue their friendship through visits and lots of chats on the phone!

As Brian’s sister, Haley and Melanie met at Thanksgiving with the Thompson’s. Melanie and Haley bonded over their love of Harry Potter, books, and silly faces. They clicked instantly and Melanie knew she would be so excited to call this beautiful soul her sister!
