If perfect were a person, it would be Melanie. Granted, the writer of this description has a significant bias, but nonetheless, Melanie is without a doubt an image bearer of Christ, and she is excellent in this role. She has a vision of a better world, she has the tools to improve it, and she has every intention of bringing that vision into reality by the will of God. She is wonderful and sweet, a woman of great wisdom, intellect, and beauty. Ben has never been luckier!
Benjamin

If Melanie is perfect personified, Ben is probably not. He's got some pros, he's got some cons, overall he's a decent human being. He loves to laugh, to smile, to be fun, but mostly he loves to make Melanie happy! He was described as "a little boy in a candy shop" when he first started dating the bride, and that reality has not changed. When Melanie is not the center of his attention, (a rare occasion these days) he works as a nurse, rock climbs as a hobby, and dedicates time to men's ministry.
Grant
Best Man
Ben's brother, basically a chad, super smart, likes to climb rocks and build weapons of mass destruction from a box of scraps. He's also one of Ben's mentors, best pals, and a brother in many more ways than the literal sense.
Josh
Groomsman
Flowing hair, ripped jeans, often dressed in black; yep, Josh is the hot one. Singer, songwriter, musical extraordinaire, he's also one of Ben's closest friends and has been for over a decade.
Favian
Groomsman
Originally just the "boyfriend" of Ben's sister, Favian has become one of Ben's go-to friends for venting, deep discussion, and plenty of mischiefs. If Ben starts giggling like a schoolgirl, Favian is certain to be near!
Matt
Groomsman
Matt, like Ben, is a classic, shameless, hopeless romantic and has enjoyed many long talks with the groom on the excitement of falling in love. They've been cut from the same cloth in personality and have built a friendship off of helping each other through the same struggles. Aside from all this gooey stuff, he's also ripped and a professional photographer and videographer, so yeah, he's cooler than you.
Hudson
Groomsman
Ben's younger brother, Hudson has been with the groom through thick and thin. They've shared a room, a job, a desk, plenty of secrets, and just about everything else growing up. Despite the brotherly rivalry, these two have an ironclad bond.
Emily
Matron of Honor
Emily and Melanie have shared in many shenanigans together over a lifetime friendship that is yet to slow down, despite living in separate states! A soul sister, a fellow Disney fanatic, these two get into a lot of trouble (mostly Emily's fault). Aside from the mischief, Emily is one of Melanie's head spiritual mentors, like the sister she never had growing up.
Victoria
Bridesmaid
Another childhood friend, Vic and Melanie have shared many adventures, including coffee shop exploring, antique shop hunting, frequent sleepovers, and trying new things in general. They are both aspiring teachers, animal lovers, and K-pop fangirls. Overall, Vic is Melanie's other adopted sister in addition to Emily. The three of them have strong ties together that have lasted into early adulthood.
Caitlin
Bridesmaid
From the same homeschool group as Vic and Emily, Melanie and Caitlin developed a friendship later in life after finally working past the introvert walls and realizing they had so much in common! They recommend books to each other, share interests and hobbies (mostly just reading books and drinking tea), and enjoy an intellectual relationship, keeping each other sharp.
Hannah

These two go way back to junior high, meeting in ASL and bonding over the stresses of life at the time. Hannah was pivotal in helping Melanie through her first breakup and has remained one of her best friends to vent with. Finding comfort in each other, they soon realized they had a lot of fun together as well. Nowadays it's late-night karaoke and blasting music in the car, enjoying the rambunctious attitudes they bring out of each other.
Lanie

Lanie, sister of the groom, is a wonderful young woman, an aspiring writer, classic romantic (like the groom), and a natural caretaker. She also rocks out on some choice music and is a hardcore Minecraft fanatic, the first gaming girl in the Kilcup family. Hypothetically, if Ben was a woman, he'd probably be Lanie.
Sarah
Flower Girl
Flower girl, but definitely a flower child! Sarah is a bundle of fun with a love for all things social and unicorn that will never be paralleled in this century. If magical fairy elves were a personality, Sarah would have a PhD in it.
Mary
Flower Girl
The "Pwincess" herself, Mary has been running the Kilcup family since came to this poor earth like a wrecking ball back in 2013. Hopelessly charismatic, she will undoubtedly rule the planet before Ben and Melanie have a 3rd anniversary, but that is speculation. She takes her role as flower girl very seriously, offering her rehearsed services to only the most worthy of couples.
Trinity
Ring Bearer
Potentially the cutest child ever born, scientists are baffled by the immaculate genetic composition of Trinity. Zealots in the field of genealogy claim she is the chosen one. Chosen for what, we have yet to find out, but we all agree she is adorable beyond the mortal threshold.
