We met at 9th Avenue Pier in Belmar. Barry was docking boats and I was a cocktail server. The summer of 2012 was certainly one for the books. Our first encounter was at the drink well, at that moment I knew I would date the boat boy. We remained friends and went out a lot. However we both went back to college and had separate lives in between. After a few years of flirting and coincidentally being in the same places all of the time, it was evident that our friendship was so much more. Our first official date was at Surf Taco and we finally started dating 06/13/15 in Baltimore, MD. Through endless nights at kellys, late night pizza at Eddys, hurricanes in the Dominican and Ruby Tuesday Date nights, it all seems a blur. We moved into our home and learned to wash dishes. We managed to get engaged before we put up blinds... but hey were still learning haha. Barry proposed 07/04/18 and it was truly the biggest surprise. He had all of my friends in on it, and even though I may have said NO 3 times, the last response was a YES! Life is a marathon not a sprint, and regardless of the obstacles thrown our way we’ve endured them together and I don’t believe there is anything we can’t solve together. The past few years have been amazing and our journey is only just beginning!
