Their story began in Florida, at a nursing facility where they both worked. They passed each other in the hallway countless times, offering little more than polite nods and brief report exchanges. Austin was the quiet type, comes to work and goes home, and Melanie, on the other hand, was the social butterfly, always chatting with the CNAs and fellow nurses.
Then one day, Austin texted Melanie out of the blue and asked if she wanted to grab dinner. Melanie was nervous and unsure but eventually said yes. Few more dates and they became official.
Their courtship was brief yet intense, a whirlwind of emotions that culminated in a separation in 2014.
Life moved on, until 2019, when fate brought them back together. Their love blossomed as they bought a house and pursued their dreams. Austin also became a Registered Nurse, and together they embraced the challenges of becoming an ICU Nurse. They shared dedication to healing and helping others, inspiring their wedding hashtag: #FromICUtoIDO.
