I had just moved to St Louis and my neighbor and I went on a tour at Schlafly Brewery down the street from my studio. I met this super friendly and fun lady (Marsha) who was also on the tour and we got to talking about biking. She asked me if I was single and if I would be interested in having her single son show me some trails around my new town. I answered "yes" to both and we exchanged information. I really didn't think he was going to call me BUT we had our first date at Schlafly a week later and haven't been able to stop seeing each other since.
My mom was having her friends in town and she had asked for some ideas of where to take them out and I had recommended the Taste of Maplewood. She ran into Melanie at Schlafly on a Brewery Tour that weekend and they connected. Turns out she was single and my mom got her number for me. I was interested by my mom's description of her so I called her the next day. We had a great first date and pretty much hung out every single day since.
Asher woke up that Saturday morning and had decided that he couldn't wait any longer and he knew today was the day. They had already had a plan to go kayaking and it was already a beautiful, sunny, blue sky day and Asher took full advantage of the opportunity. After taking some time to check out the flea markets in town it was off to Flathead Lake to have fun on the kayaks. Asher took a bold move and proposed out on the open water. Tagline: "I would get down on one knee but I would probably flip my boat and drop the ring". She said 'yes' of course and they were able to celebrate with a bottle of champagne and some FaceTime with family.
