We met way back in 2009 at our summer bowling league at Transit Lanes. We were assigned to the same pair of lanes and bowled together that whole summer. Who would have thought what that would lead to!

New Years day 2012 is what we consider our "first date." What did we do? Well, we watched just about all the Twilight movies in one day (you can probably guess who's idea that was).

On a normal Friday afternoon, Andrew told me we were going to go downtown to the Japanese Garden with some of our friends. We brought our new puppy Molly with us as well. I did not suspect anything as we continued to walk through the Japanese Garden and into Delaware Park. As we were walking in the park, our friends stopped us to take a picture of us in front of the lake. They told us to get a picture with Molly as well and brought her up for Andrew to hold. Andrew pointed out to me that there was something on her collar- well that happened to be the engagement ring! I was completely shocked and it could not have been a better surprise.
