Melanie and Andrew met online in Baltimore at the end of 2020. Their first date was on a Sunday evening at the Guinness Brewery. Andrew moved back to Philadelphia for work and the two said their goodbyes (sadly) thinking they’d likely never see each other again. A few months later Andrew reached out with an excuse to come see Melanie in Baltimore (encouraged by some friends who were tired of hearing him talk about the girl he had left behind). They drove back and forth between the cities for about 6 months, until Melanie moved up to Philly after finishing her schooling. They moved into their beloved Corinthian Ave. home together in August 2022 with their two dogs, Phoenix and Arthur. Andrew proposed on a walk with the dogs, behind the Philadelphia Art Museum, in April 2024 (she said yes).
