Often referred to as twins and the Schneider's fifth child, Melanie and Kendall met in middle school at 12 years old and despite Ken being "too busy" to go to Mel's 13th birthday party, their relationship persevered and they have been best friends ever since. Though the two haven't lived in the same city since 2017, every time they reunite it's like no time had passed at all. When together, the two can be seen adventuring like camping, skydiving, or zip-lining, as well as getting a sweet treat or yapping for hours on end.
Alex Rehovsky-Bennewitz
Matron of Honor
Alex and Aly are platonic soulmates—the kind of once-in-a-lifetime friend who truly understand each other, heart and mind. They met in the trenches of grad school, survived the chaos together, and came out as psychologists. They bartended side-by-side at “the club” (an old bar with even older regulars), danced our hearts out at Some Shitty Cover Band shows, and shared holidays with Alex's amazing family. Alex has been there for every version of Aly—cheering her on, calling her out, and helping her grow into who she is today.
Nicole Schneider

Nicole is Melanie's older sister, so naturally they met in 1999. The two grew up sharing a room and are closer now that they live 1,200 miles apart than when they lived 5 feet apart. The two can be seen pin hunting at Disneyland, singing along to Taylor Swift and eating burritos at Miguel's Jr.
Kathryn Call

Kathryn and Alyssa go all the way back to fourth grade, when they first met playing soccer—and have been inseparable ever since. From basketball games and girls' nights to supporting each other through every academic win (and the occasional meltdown), Kathryn has been a constant in Alyssa's life. Even now, years later, they still find time to reconnect—whether it’s catching up in person when they’re in the same state or sharing drinks on the old high school football field like they never left. Kathryn is loyal, hilarious, and has the biggest heart. Alyssa couldn’t imagine her wedding day without her forever teammate, Kitty Kat.
Megan Reardanz

Mel and Megan met in high school, but became incredibly close when they were roommates while attending University in Grand Forks, ND. They were in EMT school and the first bit of nursing school together. Now living 1,000+ miles away, they often are spontaneously booking flights to visit each other and can be spotted on the water, making candy salads, at breweries, at escape rooms, and at ice cream shops.
Erin Forsyth

Erin is the kind of friend who just gets Alyssa. From deep talks during long car rides and bus trips to and from soccer games, to spontaneous late-night Voodoo Donuts runs, their friendship is built on the little moments that mean everything. They’ve bonded over a love of botany, shared locations (yes, they always know where the other is), and Alyssa's tendency to randomly show up at Erin's house unannounced. Even when not physically together, they’re never far apart. Erin's been a grounding presence in Alyssa's life.

Mel and Megan met while working at Starbucks in Grand Forks, ND. Megan still lives in North Dakota, but the two love to do murder mystery games with their respective partner and then will ship the game for the other couple to do too. When together the two can be seen causing a raucous in down town Grand Forks or floating down a Midwest river. One last note worthy fun fact, Mel is the proud Godmother of Megan's cat, Skyy!
Tasha Rowland

Tasha is Alyssa's sister, but more than that, she has become one of Alyssa's best friends. Their bond grew slowly over time, rooted in deep conversations, late-night heart-to-hearts, and a mutual love for all things nerdy. From obsessing over Lord of the Rings extended editions, quoting Star Wars, swapping tattoo ideas, and nerding out about D&D, they’ve found our own unique rhythm. Through every relationship, bit of family chaos, and life milestone, Tasha has been there. In this world and every other, they will always have each other’s backs.

Katie and Alyssa met at 13, battling it out in a 4x1 track relay—Katie's team took the win (don’t worry, she's been forgiven). Since then, they’ve bonded over a shared love of music, sports, and making unforgettable memories. Whether they’re rapping at a random house party, dancing in the kitchen, or taking spontaneous trips to the beach, when the two of them are together, it’s always a good and wild time. Even from opposite sides of the country, the connection never skips a beat—Katie’s the kind of friend who makes every reunion feel like no time has passed.
