Alexander and Melanie will both be taking the last name 'Dilonardo' in honor of Alex's adopted grandfather, Antonio Dilonardo, otherwise known as "Nonno". Knowing that Nonno's last name is a legacy that currently will not be passed on to further generations, Alex and Melanie made the joint decision to adopt it together. Nana and Nonno were asked for permission and are very excited about the opportunity. If anyone has any questions prior to the wedding, please do not hesitate to reach out to either of us. We will have a bus through Star Transportation from 3:00pm-12:00am to transport guests between the Running Aces Hotel and the venue, Abella. The ceremony starts at 4:00pm and the time it takes to get from the hotel to the venue is about 16 minutes. The bus can hold up to 30+ passengers. We plan on having two trips take place before the ceremony begins at 4:00pm. Anyone can use the bus between these times (if something is left behind at the hotel, if someone isn't feeling well, etc...). We would really love our guests to take advantage of the transportation and book a room at the hotel if desired.
Yes. Please ensure all of your children are accounted for on your RSVP as we will have kids meals available. If you would rather have a night-off from parenting that is completely up to you.
Yes. If it is someone not listed on your invitation, please ensure you include them when you RSVP. Please limit plus ones to significant others/romantic partners/boyfriends/girlfriends rather than a friend or family member.
Our venue, Abella, has plenty of parking available. However, vehicles cannot be left overnight and all vehicles have to be off of the property by 12:30am. That being said, we will have an open bar. Please have a designated driver or take advantage of the shuttle we will have to transport guests (before, during, and after the wedding) to and from the venue to the Running Aces hotel (for hotel booking information please visit the travel page).
