We're getting married (again)!

Nick and I met at work. We had been working together for a year before I realized who he was LOL. He worked night shift while I worked during the day. One night in September 2017, I was over a friend's house and I drove over a nail and got a flat. Working at a wheel repair company, I did the only smart thing a person could do, and called the nighttime supervisor telling him to come save me. Little did I know, he sent Nick to come help. I didn't really know Nick at all, so I had a feeling it was going to be somewhat awkward. My friends gave me a to-go cup of wine while I waited for him to fix my tire (I have the best friends if you can't tell lol!) About a week later, Nick messaged me these exact words: "want to get some beers?" I thought to myself "what a weirdo, the answer is NO." So, I responded very nicely and said "sure, when?" HA! We decided to go to Row Boat Willies in Millers Island for some Budweisers and Dirty Bananas. A match made in heaven. In October 2017, Nick asked me to be his girlfriend. Then in March 2019, he asked me to marry him! We were supposed to have our wedding on June 6, 2020, but COVID had other plans. We got married in our backyard with immediate family and it was such a special day. We are so happy we were still able to get married, but now we are ready to have our big wedding and celebrate with all of our family and friends!
