Melanie and Jamie did not meet the typical way. They did not go to school together, did not meet at church, didn't even cross paths until Melanie stumbled across Jamie's Social Media page on Instagram thanks to a mutual friend. Being the outgoing, ambitious young girl that she was, she made the first move by "Liking" a couple of his pictures. Jamie couldn't resist and "Liked" a couple of her pictures back (which is perceived as flirting on the internet). They exchanged numbers, talked for hours endlessly on the phone from the start of the day to late at night. It wasn't until a year later that Jamie officially asked her to be his Girlfriend on February 8, 2015. They have watched each other grow and in that grew fondly in love while learning each other as they were just 18 years old when they first met! They've traveled together, worked together and have made each other the happiest they can say they've ever been in these years. And finally on 12/25/2020 Jamie popped the Question to Melanie asking her to be his Wife. They have laughed, they have cried, they have continued to love and now they finally get to marry on 9/10/2022. Song of Solomon 2:16 KJV reads, "My beloved is mine, and I am his", this is true epitome.
