What should I wear?

Answer

Be comfortable. Or be fancy. You will be walking on dirt pathways and uneven ground in the woods, so keep that in mind when choosing your footwear.

Where should I park?

Answer

Surface parking lot by the big barn to the left when you enter the park. More parking to the right follows all the way up to the beach pavilion, past the observatory.

Do I need a special permit to park?

Answer

No. Carver County Parks does not charge entrance or parking fees. Visitors do not need a vehicle permit to enter or park at Carver County park facilities.

When can I check in if I am camping?

Answer

Check-in: 3 p.m. Check-out: 2 p.m. If the campground office is closed when you arrive, contact the campground host for assistance. Campground Host: 612-209-0109
