We have organized a bus to Merrior that will leave from two locations: one from the Dockside Inn, and one from the Jackson Creek Property (971 Fishing Bay Road). The timings are below: 5:30pm - Bus Leaves Dockside Inn / Jackson Creek Property (971 Fishing Bay Road). 10:00pm - Bus departs Merroir, drops at Dockside Inn / Jackson Creek Property (971 Fishing Bay Road). Can you please let us know if you would like a seat on the bus. Depending on your flight time, it may be easier for those who get in later to go directly to Merroir(as it is on your way to Deltaville!)

Richmond, Virginia (RIC)

The best airport to fly into is Richmond, VA (RIC) (a.k.a. Mel's hometown!). It's called the Richmond International Airport. Deltaville is then a 1 hour and 10 minute drive from the airport.

Dulles Airport (IAD) + Reagan Airport (DCA)

Dulles Airport and Reagan Airport are right outside of Washington, DC, and are good options for those flying in from overseas/major cities. Keep in mind the drive to Deltaville is longer - 3 to 3.5 hours, and can be quite traffic heavy on the weekends in peak summer periods like the Juneteenth weekend.

Travel Note

Rental Cars / Getting to Deltaville

We recommend renting a car from the airport because transport in the Fishing Bay area can be difficult once you arrive as there is no ubers or taxis. You can also uber from Richmond airport (~US$100-150 depending on demand) however be mindful that getting back from Deltaville to Richmond airport could be difficult because there are limited ubers in the area (we suggest pre booking a taxi or uber in advance if you are not driving yourself back to the airport).
