We fell in love with Fort Myers nearly 10 years ago when we started at FGCU and are happy to call it our home today! We are excited for you to experience it during your visit.
Here are some of our favorite things to do!
Downtown Dining: Oxbow, Fancy's Southern Cafe, Izzy's Fish & Oyster, Capone's Coal Fired Pizza, Ford's Garage, The Veranda ($$$), Scoops on First Ice Cream, Belgian Yummies Gelato .... or feel free to explore on your own!
Beaches (within 45 min of Downtown Fort Myers): Our favorites are Barefoot Beach County Preserve (where we got engaged!), Lover's Key State Park, Delnor Wiggin's State Park, Lighthouse Beach Park, and Bowman's Beach Park. Fort Myers Beach is the closest, but much busier and more developed.
