Things To Do

Northshire Bookstore

Northshire Bookstore

4869 Main Street, Manchester, VT 05255

Probably one of the most charming and expansive local bookstores that we have been to. So many little nooks to get lost in. And! its connected to a cute little coffee shop.

Little Rooster Café

4764 Main Street, Manchester, VT 05255

Many cute diner spots in the area, but this is one that we ate at and can definitely vouch for. Place is on the smaller side... so might be tough at peak times or for large groups.

Lye Brook Falls Trailhead

Lye Brook Falls Trail, Manchester, VT 05255

A really popular and not too difficult trail close by. According to Alltrails, takes approx 2.5 hours, out and back, 4.5. miles, 925ft elevation gain.

Equinox Pond Hike

Athletic Field, Prospect St, Manchester Center, VT 05255, Manchester, VT 05255

2.4 miles, 196 ft elevation gain, <1hr This beautiful little trail leads hikers along Flatlander's Pass to the Equinox Pond. You'll make a loop around the pond before returning via the same route. There is a short but steep incline along the Summit Trail at the beginning of the route, which you'll descend on the way back to the parking lot. The paths are wide and well-marked, and there are some benches along the way where you can sit and admire the pond.

The Crooked Ram

The Crooked Ram

4026 Main Street, Manchester, VT 05254

4.7 with 299 reviews. looks good! haven't been tho "Led by James Beard nominated Best Chef Northeast, Che Tiara Adorno, the restaurant showcases a menu of thoughtfully sourced seasonal ingredients through refined dishes that embody a sense of time and place. The intimate space is warm and welcoming and of careful design. Meant to celebrate the event of dining, the experience intends a creative balance between art and play."
