FAQs

To our family & friends, We hope you & yours are healthy and safe during this time, & we appreciate all the love and support we’ve received from each of you. Although the COVID-19 crisis has created much uncertainty, as of now, we will be proceeding with our wedding on 4/10/21. We understand that the situation is in constant flux, & we are closely monitoring the current CDC guidelines & the recommendations of our state. We will keep you informed if plans should change, so please continue to check out our website for updates. To our international & out of town guests, we understand it may be difficult or even impossible to travel by spring. For this reason, we understand if you must celebrate with us from afar. We also understand that last minute cancellations might occur, & that's okay! Please feel free to reach out to us directly with any concerns. Thank you for your patience & understanding. We cannot wait to be together with you in person again come spring!
 Love, Mel & Kyle
Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We love your kids but thought you might like a night off! Other than children in the wedding party, this will be an adults only affair. Infants under 12 months welcome.

Question

WILL SOCIAL DISTANCING BE ENFORCED?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at an outdoor venue on 53 acres, so you should be able to social distance if needed. Although we will not be enforcing it, we encourage all guests to wear masks if it makes them feel safer while we gather and celebrate.

Question

What should I do if I feel sick before the wedding?

Answer

Stay home. Take care of yourself. Get rest and stay hydrated. If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms, you might have COVID-19. Most people have mild illness and are able to recover at home. If you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, contact your healthcare provider. Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should not plan to attend this event.

Question

What Is The RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Kindly RSVP online by Monday, March 1st.

Question

What is The Dress Code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire - a balance between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable. Think cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, button downs, jackets and slacks.

Question

What Precautions Are Being Taken For COVID-19?

Answer

All venue team members, catering staff and vendors will be wearing masks for the duration of the event. Hand sanitizer and masks will be provided for all guests. The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, providing ventilation for all of the main event spaces. We will provide plated dinner service - no buffets.

Question

Parking

Answer

There is a large parking lot on the property that will accommodate all guests for our ceremony and reception. Parking is free. We will also have a small shuttle running from the parking lot to the ceremony space for those that need it.

Question

Will there be a live stream for those who can't make it?

Answer

For those who can't make it or do not feel comfortable attending gatherings at this time, we would be happy to look into providing a stream of our ceremony that you can attend virtually from the safety of your own home. If this sounds like your kind of party, please reach out to Mel at melissamenelas@gmail.com.
