Is there a reserved blocks of rooms?
Answer
Yes! The Lodge at Schroon Lake has a discounted block of rooms our guests. Hotel rooms, suites, and chalets are available to book. Please call the Hotel directly at 518-987-0708 and ask for the Carter-Deso wedding to book!

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the wedding venue?
Answer
No, the wedding venue has hotel rooms, cabins, suites, and chalets all available onsite. Please drive or utilize local taxis or Ubers to The Lodge if you select alternative accommodations. Parking is complimentary for wedding guests.

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
Formal. We ask that men wear a suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress. Please no jeans or khakis.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
While we wish we could have everyone at the wedding, due to space capacities all of our invitees will be noted on the formal invitation envelope and will be outlined on the website after scanning the QR code on the RSVP card.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
All of our favorite kiddos are invited to the resort for the weekend to experience all that the Adirondacks has to offer. However, Saturday, the brides have requested an adults only afternoon/evening.

What is the weather like in the area?
Answer
We are so excited to be getting married in the Adirondack Mountains during our favorite winter season. Snowy weather may affect your travel, please travel safe! We recommend to bring comfortable boots and pack warm with lots of layers during your down time at the resort!
