How should I RSVP?

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website or call/text Melissa at 570-703-1973 Please submit your RSVP by August 1st so we can plan accordingly!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Nope! This is an all in one event!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress Casual- Cocktail attire! Keep in mind this is an outdoor venue and we would rather people have fun than worry about ruining an outfit!

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at The Checkerboard. There is the main lot, a lower lot on the Dug Rd entrance right next to The Grove, and an additional lot on Carverton Rd between The Checkerboard and TC Riley’s.

Are photos allowed during the Ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will have a QR code & web link posted at the Grove so our guests can share the photos they take during the Ceremony & Reception. There will not be a professional photographer so we’re counting on you to share some good ones!

Where am I going once I get there?

Answer

The Grove is the large pavilion behind The Checkerboard Restaurant & Inn, not the one attached to the main building.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! The pavilion has side walls that can be put up in the event of rain.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Beer & Wine will be included, and Cash Bar available for liquor.
