We met at a high school party! Although, we went to the same high school we had never met each other prior. After meeting we became friends for a few months since we had a common interest - EMO MUSIC and the love of the Glasshouse in Downtown Pomona. We still love to go to music festivals and concerts. Since we now live in Orange, the OC Observatory in Santa Ana has become one of our favorite local venues! We have been together since January 2008.

We got engaged at the end of beautiful trip to Scotland, England, and France. After concealing the ring for weeks and carrying it around all of the mentioned countries Fabian proposed to Mel on the flight home while descending into LAX! NOT at any of the beautiful landmarks we visited but on a Virgin Airlines Flight. Fabian wanted to surprise Mel... and what a surprise it was!
