Very conveniently located near our home, this happens to be our favorite breakfast place of all time! Don't forget to visit the Swedish Shop across the street for incredibly cute trinkets!
John's favorite place to get a Daisy Cutter! There was also a time when we stumbled into Drag Bingo! Ask us the story sometime!
A modern take on YiaYia's cooking in Logan Square! John's parents took us here to celebrate our engagement!
Chloe's dad's favorite place to pick up deli meat in Lincoln Square! The rooftop will be open for bratwursts and beer galore!
This movie theater has been around since John's grandpa lived in Lincoln Square! A great and historic spot to catch a movie! Fun fact: The first movie that we saw here was Barbie! (John very much enjoyed it!)
Chloe's little sister's favorite place for boba tea! Johns recommendation: Vietnamese Milk Coffee Chloe's recommendation: Guava Green Tea
Down the street from where Chloe used to student teach and her alma mater, Northeastern Illinois University, Outdoor Cafe is a cozy spot for coffee, smoothies, and board games! Right before we moved to North Park, we stopped by here with Mel & Tyler after one of Chloe & Mel's performances at NEIU!
This was among one of the first adventures out in the city! If you want a free spot to check out, this is the one!
You can't miss this ice cream spot with the GIANT Teddy Bear on the roof! With each teddy graham cracker served on top of our ice cream, we fall more in love with this place with each passing summer. Of course, John also loves it for its variety of Greek treats such as baklava, portokalopita, spanokopita, and more!
When John was still attending Elmhurst College (now University), he had an art project which required him to visit here. He decided to make it a date with Chloe and now it's one of our favorite places to visit in the summer!
Chloe brought John here after a date downtown, and its always our go-to place for downtown dates ever since! We love to come here after a day at the Art Institute, the Field Museum, roaming around Millennium Park, and especially after going to Lyric Opera!
This is one of our favorite places to go! It makes Chloe feel like she's promenading around with John like in Bridgerton! So, John thought this to be the perfect place to propose to Chloe! John found a quiet spot in the Sensory Garden overlooking the pond and all the garden to propose in. After 7.5 years, it still is one of the happiest days of our lives!
