Lakeside formal. Our wedding is overlooking a beautiful lake and we plan to look our finest! Please note that there is some uneven ground and gravel/dirt walkways. Think late summer formal, with comfy shoes. We recommend wearing layers and checking the weather prior to packing.
We will have designated parking areas marked along Shallow Lake Lane. Please note that the long gravel driveway is too narrow for turn-around parking and will be roughly a 3 minute walk. If you need more accessible parking, please note this in your RSVP and we will happily reserve a specific space for you near the tent!
We will have a reception tent for dinner and a pole barn for dancing, ensuring a dry option for our ceremony if necessary. You will still want to bring a coat and/or umbrella if any rain is in the forecast, as walking the grounds between events and parking is inevitable.
We have created a menu that will provide plenty of GF, nut free, dairy free, and meat free options. Please let us know in your RSVP if you have specific allergies or there is anything else we can do to meet your dietary needs.
The best way to get to and from the wedding property is to travel by car. There is about a mile of flat gravel road after turning off of US-2. Please note that Lyft and Uber are few and far between in the Grand Rapids area.
Your travel and present witness to us on our day is the only gift that we hope to receive! Our sense of community with all of you provides us with endless gratitude. For those who wish to still bring a gift, we will have a small area set aside for cards and contributions towards our future together.
We will be documenting the events through photography, but we will not be live-streaming any portion of our wedding. We hope that you're able to join us in person!
