We've reserved hotel blocks at a few nearby hotels to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. We recommend booking early to take advantage of the special rates. You can find all the details—including booking links and deadlines— on the Travel page of our website. We also wanted to provide you all with suggestions based on our previous stays and experiences at those specific hotels. You can easily use google and other travel sites ( Expedia, Kayak, Airbnb etc) to book hotels, guest houses etc. We highly suggest our guests to stay in the "Bole, Kazanchis, Hyaulet 22, Dembel, Meskel Square" areas as those neighborhoods are located in prime areas with easy access to walking, transport, restaurant, shopping and nightlife. The airport is also conveniently located 5-15 min away also.
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We love your little ones! However, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We hope this will allow all of our guests—including parents—to relax, let loose, and fully enjoy the evening with us. Thank you so much for understanding!
We kindly ask everyone to bring their physical ticket with them to each event as it will be required for entry, as entry will not be permitted without the physical ticket. For international guests- we will share Point of Contact details, pickup and delivery information two weeks prior to the wedding.
Each event will begin promptly, so we kindly ask guests to arrive 15–30 minutes early to find their seats and settle in. We want to make sure everyone’s there to share our moment !
In January, Ethiopia generally experiences warm and dry weather. Although temperatures can often range between 65-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, evening temperatures range from 55-70 degrees Fahrenheit. While most of Ethiopia is warm and dry in January, it's important to remember that temperatures can vary depending on altitude and location within the country.
Yes, if you are not an Ethiopian Citizen or Yellow Card Holder you will need a visa to enter Ethiopia. You can obtain a visa upon arrival, or request an "evisa" ( which we highly recommend) via the https://www.evisa.gov.et/visa website. All official pricing and necessary information will be provided by the official Ethiopian "evisa"/ embassy website.
Since we’ll be busy getting married, we have arranged several close family and friends to serve as Point of Contacts for our international guests. We will provide contact information once finalized.
