Devon and Samantha met at Panera bread in Shiloh, IL during COVID. As you can imagine it was a tough time during that period in our lives but because of a job, the two met and became instant friends! Devon couldn't remember Samantha's name, so he always referred to her as "22" which if guessed it was her age at the time! After some time of just talking at work, the two decided to hang out! They shared so many laughs, and late-night talk sessions, but long boarding in the SIUE parking lot was one of their favorite things to do together; even as one of their "first dates". From there the two shared so much time together and it eventually flourished into a relationship on March 9th of 2021. Two years of having fun and enjoying each other the two found out they were having a baby! On March 2nd of 2023 they welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Ivory! After she was born, she unfortunately had to stay in the NICU for almost 4 weeks. There they spent their 2nd anniversary with their beloved daughter! Come Mother's Day, as Samantha was getting the baby ready to go for an outing, she turned around to be greeted by Devon on one knee asking Samantha to marry him! A year later the Two have come together to set a date to be united as one!
