Mekenzie and Kolbe’s love story began with a hidden connection—though they didn’t know each other yet, their siblings had graduated college together and were already familiar faces in each other’s families. But it wasn’t until freshman year of college that Mekenzie and Kolbe met for the first time. Their first adventure together was an unforgettable one: swing dancing at 3 a.m. under the stars at Gates of the Mountain. It was spontaneous, fun, and the perfect beginning to a relationship built on laughter, faith, and deep connection. Over the next four years, their bond grew stronger through shared experiences—being on the cheer team together, spending time outdoors, and supporting one another through life’s ups and downs. Kolbe loves Mekenzie’s empathy and the way she brings light and joy to every situation. Mekenzie admires Kolbe’s caring heart and his deep love for his family.
