A lot has happened since we met on our hike in the beautiful landscapes of Alaska in 2024, and now we are officially engaged as of February 2026! We know it’s just the beginning as many of you who have been married know, but we couldn't be more excited to take on the challenge and enjoy life as we do it. One of the best parts of this relationship has been that we are not alone either. Many of you have been there for us in incredibly helpful ways. Family, friendship, and community can help a partnership go a long way so thank you for helping us get here and for the future love, blessings, and prayers going forward too. We hope all of you receive this invitation in good spirit. We want you to know you are in our hearts, we see you, we love you, and we want you to be a part of our lives now and throughout life. So here are the details for this upcoming union between Mekennah and Ian! At this time, we are only able to have a small, immediate family only wedding. That date will be July 18th, 2026 and then a new life begins together! We will have a registry available for anyone who may want to contribute to this new chapter and support. Any contribution will help us as we transition to living together and married life! Even though we could not have a full wedding celebration now, we still want to have as many of our friends and family a part of such a special and once in a lifetime event. We decided to throw an official wedding celebration in Spring of 2028 in Puerto Rico where all who receive this are welcome to join. Please be on the lookout for an official invitation in the future.
