We're Getting Married!

Funny enough, they both attended Western Kentucky University at the same time but did not know each other. They were even paired together for a Homecoming, had tons of mutual friends, yet somehow never crossed paths back then. Mekenna ended up moving back to Georgia to finish college and after a few years, she decided to make Nashville her new home! They met at Pancho & Lefty's on Cinco de Mayo in Nashville - just 10 days before Mekenna moved to town. Kent then invited Mekenna to a concert the first weekend she was officially a Nashville resident and were inseparable ever since! As the years went by, they went on countless dates, made it "official" which officially made Mekenna a dog mom to their sweet pup, Reese, moved in together, and now engaged! Kent proposed at the beautiful Blackberry Mountain outside of Knoxville, TN on September 12th, 2025! Kent and Mekenna couldn't be more excited for this next chapter and can't wait to celebrate our wedding this year with all our loved ones and favorite people!
