FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It's an outside wedding where we are creating a mystical and magical night for everyone. We only wish for you to be comfortable! Garden Attire! Sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, fun hats and fascinators. Colorado summers can be quite warm during the day and gets chilly once the sun sets. Foot wear: The venue is an outdoor setting with uneven terrain. Stilettos not advised.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We wish we could invite the whole world (and maybe we will someday!), but for now, our magical venue has limited room. We can only welcome the amazing people named on your invitation. Your invite will say "& Guest," your name may be followed by +1, or you will see it in the wedding portal —that’s your golden ticket to bring a partner in crime to the celebration! Thanks for understanding and helping us keep the vibes just right!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love little ones, but our celebration space is a bit on the cozy side. So, children are invited only if their names are on the invite. If your invite is for ‘The {Your Last Name} Family,' then your whole crew is welcome to join the fun. Also, take a look at the portal. All the invited guests should be listed there. Otherwise, it means you can enjoy your adults-only dance party this time around. Thanks for understanding—we want everyone to have the best experience!

Question

What about transportation?

Answer

We're glad you asked. Airports: Denver is just over an hour north and offers a shuttle to Monument and Colorado Springs. The service is called Groome. Colorado Springs has a smaller airport which is very convenient. Rental Cars: Because public transportation is not widely available, a car is highly recommended. The Wedding Night: Parking is limited at Ponderosa Paradise. Our plan is to offer a shuttle from a parking lot in Monument to the wedding. Ideally, we will also look into running a shuttle from specific hotels in the area to and from the wedding. Details TBD.

Question

Where should I stay? Colorado Springs or Monument?

Answer

The wedding is on the west side of Monument. If you are just coming down for the night, Monument is a great place to stay. Colorado Springs has much more to offer. So if you are making a weekend of it, we recommend hotels at Exit 149 or Exit 153 off I-25. There are many options and brands- from IHG to Hilton and Great Wolf Lodge to Wyndham. Note: We are working on blocking rooms at a few different places and will update the Travel Tab to share that information as soon as it is finalized.
