When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is August 15th, 2026 so we are able to finalize all details with our venue and vendors. If we have not received your RSVP by the deadline, we will assume you are unable to attend - though we will truly miss celebrating with you! Thank you for your consideration and we hope to see you there!

How far in advance should we book our accommodations?

Answer

Since the Galena Oktoberfest will be taking place the same weekend as the wedding—and with fall being a peak season for tourism in Galena—we highly recommend that guests book their accommodations at least six months in advance to ensure availability.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be cocktail attire but feel free to dress to impress! We kindly request for guests to refrain from wearing jeans, or white/off-white colors. Our bridal party will be wearing dusty rose dresses.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding a seat. Please be sure to arrive on time, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the moment without any distractions. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing all the beautiful moments! Please also be sure to silence all cellphones during the ceremony.

Are kids welcome to attend?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we have made the difficult decision to limit children attending the wedding due to space and other considerations. Select children will be accommodated on an invitation only basis. Please refer to your invitation for further clarification. Otherwise, we hope that you can use this as an opportunity for a date night as a couple!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your RSVP allows for an option to include a guest or your invitation includes a plus one, please feel free to bring a guest. If your invitation is addressed to you only, we kindly ask that you attend solo to help keep our guest list at capacity. Thank you for understanding!
