We're so excited to celebrate with you!

The love story between two people that started 3 years ago on their first date at McMenamins Grand Lodge in Forest Grove. One day, David's friend Steven met Mekayla's aunt Kelly, and they started talking. They introduced David and Mekayla together on a phone call and they decided to meet up. After a bottle of wine, some appetizers and great conversations, they hit it off right away! Now after 3 years, it is finally happening!

David and Mekayla have been on quite a few adventures since they met. They really enjoy exploring new and old places, as long as they are together. Many trips to the Oregon Coast, road tripping across the country stopping in Montana at the beautiful Glacier National Parks and many other places along the way, Mount Hood, The Gorge, Washington, California, Florida, and Hawaii. Their goal is to go to many more places such as Canada, Mexico, Alaska, the Greek Islands, Europe, and so much more, the opportunities are endless!

David and Mekayla took an amazing trip to Hawaii. The family and some friends knew all along, where Mekayla had no idea. On David's birthday, he decided the day had arrived (October 21st)! We were out on Mekayla's favorite beach, Polihale State Park. Mekayla was playing in the water boogie boarding, laughing and getting sand in her suit. She wiped out on the board and David took the board away. David got down on his knee and popped the question right there, where Mekayla said YES! Couldn't have been in a better spot.
