Maid of Honor
I’m Mehgan's younger (by two years!), less traveled sister who is just as loud! The one who used to sell our “laminated” (aka packing tape) bookmark art creations, lemonade, & backyard grown sweet corn on our neighborhood corner together by day and try to steal her clothes or fight over who got the dial-up internet by night. I’ve gotten to watch Meg and Casey’s love story from afar and have never seen her so comfortable and fulfilled. Casey is the brewery-going, puzzle-doing, and spontaneous (but laidback) guy we knew would be her forever. Now…Let’s get this CLARKin’ party started!
Bridesmaid
I first met Mehgan in the summer of 2017 in Colorado. It was my first time visiting my brother since he had moved there, but I was really going to meet his girlfriend I heard so much about! ☺️ I knew that she had to be special because I had never seen a smile on my brother’s face like the one he had when he introduced her to my family. We got along instantly and I was hopeful that she would stay in our lives— but when Mehgan and I spent $90 on late night cheesesteaks a month later at Summerfest in Milwaukee, I knew I had a sister for life!

Meg & I have been friends for decades but would say once we became neighbors on ol’ Pershing Blvd. in high school that’s where the real party started (& partied we did!) I would like to think the lukewarm bottles of booze we could find lying around helped boost our tolerance for all that life would soon throw our way! She’s the true definition of a good time, always down to try new things, new places, & lives for the moments! She is fiercely loyal & always rooting me on & anyone else that crosses her path. She writes the best notes & I ❤️ getting mail from her! She is so creative, colorful & has the best taste in all things. I can depend on her to send throwback pics of our style, which just confirms she’s been around my whole life! Can’t wait for the biggest party of Meg & Casey’s lives!
Bridesmaid
I first met Mehgan when Shane Cozz introduced her to our sand volleyball team in North Liberty, IA. Our team, the infamous “Butt Setts”, played quite regularly throughout that summer and quickly became my athletic family. From spicy tot nights at J&A Tap, to Hawkeye tailgates, to venturing into the mountains together, Mehgan quickly became one of my closest friends. Cubs games and concert nights—Mehgan always has a ticket in hand and is ready for the next event! I can always count on her to explore the next adventure—near or far—even if it takes us to Kansas for one more Country Stampede. Mehgan has been there for us through thick and thin and I am so excited to be a part of her and Casey’s big day!!
Bridesmaid
I met Mehgan through my fiancé, Shane, & the 1st time we met I was totally intimidated by her. She was loud, vivacious & beautiful. Here was this girl standing before me, getting ALL kinds of worked up over some game on tv, loud as could be! & THAT my friends is when I knew we were meant to be! Someone who could match my volume after a couple of drinks😉 Oh, not to mention her incredible loyalty, dedicated friendship, & the fact that I know EVERY single time I text I will get a response! Shane & I have been there from the START of their love story. She was moving for the millionth time & staying w/ us for the week, & the poor girl got super sick. She finally emerged from her room after 2 days & tells me she is going on this date w/ a guy who is moving to CO that day & the rest is history!

Mehgan and I met at Country Stampede in 2015. She quickly became part of our crazy Omaha crew that week. Ever since that week, I have considered her one of my best friends. I know I can always call her up and she would be down for a concert or road trip at any given time! :) Mehgan is such a loyal friend and has been there for me through so much. We really grew close when she lived in Omaha for a travel assignment, so I am beyond excited to have her in Omaha again.. and Casey too, this time!
Bridesmaid
Mehgan and I met at the University of Iowa as nurses in the operating rooms. We started out as coworkers and soon found a friendship. Through our friendship we became a family. She took a leap and moved into my home with my two crazy kids and my husband, Brandon. I figured she would run away for sure, but she lived with us for an entire year. We grew closer together and made so many memories! Lots of stories, laughing and tears (mainly from the kids or me 😂) And let’s not forget all the drinks we shared together at the kitchen table, or a quick walk down to Odie’s Bar, or our late night shenanigans at Shuey’s!
Bridesmaid
We started off as work friends at UIHC and quickly became great friends. We shared a couple interests that everyone in Iowa City shares, which is beer and the Iowa Hawkeyes. That common interest led to Mehgan convincing me and a couple other co-workers in renting out tailgating spots in a random man’s backyard that she found on Craigslist, sounds sketchy but it was one of the greatest ideas she ever had. (This random backyard became the OR tailgate spot to meet for years!) Mehgan and I always had the best times being paired up at work in the OR together, tailgating, going to Iowa basketball games, golfing, and just being out and about.

Mehgan and I went to high school together! We started this journey as teammates on the world’s worst soccer team. It was easy to become friends because we clearly all played for fun (not because we had much talent!!) Mehgan was one of the upperclass ladies who took me in as one of their own. Thanks to Mark & Sara marrying, we have been sworn in as family forever! Mehgan now gets to be my friend & MY NIECE! 🤣 & she has just been the greatest at both!! She is one of the most thoughtful & giving people I’ve ever been blessed with in my life. Plus, she’s always making me so proud!— Dreaming big, then chasing after and conquering all of life’s most beautiful and greatest adventures. I cannot wait to be a part of her life as a married woman and to see what the future holds for her & Casey!
Best Man
Picture this. Two large football players, both 6’3”, each weighing 250-300 pounds, riding on the same moped, together, meant for one averaged sized individual. Now THAT is how close of a friendship Casey and I started, and had, while attending Winona State University. It is still the kind of friendship we have to this day (minus the moped riding together) even though we are many miles apart. He became like another brother to me since we met in college and I would like to think I became the brother that he never had. Casey has now found someone in Mehgan who is as kind, caring, genuine and intelligent as he is himself. It is a great honor being his Best Man and I very much look forward to seeing their beautiful future together unfold.
Groomsman
The first time I met Casey my wife, Abby, and I were visiting my sister in Minnesota. We actually went to pick him up from the airport with Mehgan since he flew in for the weekend as well. I got to spend some time with them both as their relationship was just starting. (This weekend was only their 4th “date” since he had just moved to CO from MN a couple months prior!) They showed us all the best breweries in the Twin Cities! Who knew he’d become my brother in-law?! Casey is the constant and patience that Mehgan needs to keep her happy. I couldn’t ask for a better man to join our family as Mehgan’s other half!
Groomsman
I'm Lando! Casey's future brother-in-law and Mehgan's awesome younger brother (by 21 years!) Mehgan has been there from the start, (she was literally in the delivery room when I was born) and has been there for me ever since. She's my vacation and adventure buddy....and the adventure is just beginning for the happy couple. Can't wait to see what the future holds for these two love birds!!
Groomsman
Casey and I have been close friends since we became college roommates for 3.5 years. Our friendship started by bonding over playing college football, mini basketball in the living room (tear drops on my banjo), and video games. Since college, it has grown even more from shared aspirations in life, love of a good book, and accountability with each other. Casey continues to inspire me to be better, and I’m thrilled that he’s found someone to do that for him, in Mehgan, as well. I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their celebration of love!
Groomsman
My Brother! Beers. Cheers. Shifting Gears. Beers gathering our family together. Cheers expressing gratitude & celebration. Shifting Gears in the Life Pursuit of Impact!
Groomsman
Casey. . . AKA Archie and I have known each other since we were little kids . . . going all the way back to our early elementary school days when we lived down the street from each other. While in high school, we played football together for three years and it was in that time I feel we cemented our friendship and brotherhood. Since then, Casey has remained a close friend of mine despite all of the distance. I was honored to have him as a groomsman in my own wedding in 2017. Casey’s one of the best guys I know and I’m honored to stand beside him as he marries his other half.
Groomsman
Mehgan and I go all the way back to our preschool days at Big Bird Pre-school in Camanche, IA. We rekindled our friendship playing volleyball after college in North Liberty, IA and soon spent many nights playing trivia, cheering on the Hawks, and her sleeping on AJ and I’s couch. Casey and I have only known each other a handful of years, but feels like we’ve been friends for much more of our lives. If you didn’t already know, Casey has quite a way with words; I’ve given him the nickname: Hallmark Clark!
Groomsman
I hope some day to repay the kindness and generosity Casey has shown me in the time we’ve known each other. Whether it was Packers football or a brewery in Breck, we were probably talking entirely too long about whatever problem we were trying to solve in the world that day. We both rely heavily on our learned experience through sport & the desire those experiences provided us to seek growth & improvement in everything we do. I hope my friendship to him provides him at least a small amount of the impact he has had on me. Casey asking me to be there with him as he makes these vows will be one of the great honors of my life. And I am grateful to get a front row seat to these beautiful souls getting hitched.

My first weekend meeting Mehgan was June 2017: Friday fish, cold beer & a Pink concert-my kinda Gal ❤️ I met Casey back in January of ‘88. Nice fella. 9/25/21 will be a fine day, indeed, Folks. See you there.
