Why are you having a virtual wedding?

Answer

Our families and many loved ones are located very far from our home in Chicago. Although we truly wish we could celebrate with everyone in person, due to travel and gathering concerns, quarantine regulations, and the uncertainty of how the next year will be, we decided to opt for a virtual wedding. The lovely silver lining is that due to being virtual, we can include our family both in Hawaii and Iran at the same time, and that we can share with so many wonderful people from different aspects of our lives.

What is the dress for the wedding

Answer

Please dress to impress, however you define that. We welcome a range of level of dressiness from garden party to suits & cocktail dresses :) The wedding colors are white/gold/purple/pink. We will be dancing so you may want to dress top & bottom :P

How do I use Zoom?

Answer

You can connect to zoom from a Laptop, Phone, or Tablet. We recommend from a laptop because you can see more people.

Why is there a Zoom Meeting Oct 24? I thought the wedding was Oct 25

Answer

We have scheduled a practice zoom meeting on Oct 24 for anyone who wants to practice connecting and learn about how to use zoom. Bridesmaid extraordinaire and Zoom expert, Elisabeth Steele Hutchison will be leading this meeting. The wedding is definitely on Oct 25 :)

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at the wedding will be more than gift enough! Truly, we have no expectations of gifts and will be more than happy to have your well wishes and cheers :) However, we did provide a registry for those who do want to send a gift, you can access it by clicking on the "Registry" link at the top of this page.
