10:00 am
This is a fun and casual event where people can get beautiful henna tattoos made. There will be live Indian (specifically Rajasthani) folk music.
For attire: Fancy garden party is about the level of formality. Semi-formal Indian wear would be appropriate for the occasion.
3:00 pm
This is a standard secular western ceremony where the bride and groom exchange vows and rings and seal it with a kiss! This will be followed by a high tea where we will have several American reception traditions.
Fancy American wedding attire. The colour white is reserved for the bride. Any other colour is perfectly welcome as long as it doesn't look too close to white. Men will largely be in suits and women in dresses with light and delicate jewelry.
7:00 pm
This is likely the closest to a reception in the standard American wedding. There will be loads of music and dancing and some performances followed by more dancing.
Attire will be flashy and blingy. Women will be in heavy lehengas or evening gowns and men will likely be in jackets and ties.
11:00 pm
Pajama Party!!!
11:00 am
This is a traditional event we will celebrate by the poolside. Happy couples apply a skincare turmeric paste on the bride and groom to bless them and leave them looking radiant. This will also include a rain event, a little return to childhood dancing in the rain times!
Yellow is the colour of the event. Think garden wedding, florals and chinos wouldn't be out of place. Comfortable attire you can enjoy the rain in is recommended.
4:00 pm
This is the Hindu wedding ceremony. There will be a procession for the groom followed by an exchange of leis and a long religious ceremony.
This is the most formal event of the weekend. Everyone will be decked up in all their finery. Formal Indian or American attire is recommended.
