Megyn's version of "How We Fell in Love <3" (Juan's video coming soon!)
J's Version: We met in middle school, in 8th grade I think. Since the first moment I laid eyes on her, I thought she was super cute. She didn't leave my mind for years, but it wasn't the right moment. We got close as friends our senior year of high school and when I finally got the chance to ask her on a date (for homecoming), it fell through. We both went to college and then I saw her out of the blue at Starbucks. It had taken a while to recognise it was her, bc I forgot how cute she was. I debated texting her, but never got the courage. A few weeks later was Last Blast debate tourney, it was when I saw her there, that I immediately fell head over heels. She was so cute, had such a warming presence, was overall sweet and pretty. I tried everything possible to be near her and talk to her to try to get her attention because she was absolutely out of my league. That same night, our group went to Applebee's and we got close and I gave her my sweater bc it was super cold and I wanted to show that "hey, I'm interested!". Though I spent the next day being super shy, bc I didn't know if she took it as flirting or not. A few hours later, we caught up with each other, and I realised that I wanted to get to know her more. We did got closer together after driving around for a little while looking for somewhere for our group to eat dinner. We cracked jokes, retold stories, and really bonded over our similarities. After dinner, when I took her to go back to her car, we sat and talked for hours, talking about our lives and interests. I guess something really clicked and we ended up kissing. The fireworks that I felt were an instant sign about how she was the one for me because nothing that I've ever felt was so warm and true.
