Question
What transportation will be provided?
Answer
Transportation will be provided to the ceremony and from the reception. We will have shuttles picking up guests from Outbound Stowe and the Stowe Village Inn before the ceremony and dropping off guests at these same locations. We will also be providing a shuttle to the Matterhorn for the after party and will have transportation back to the hotels afterwards. There is also parking available at the Trapp Family Lodge for the wedding, if you would prefer to drive yourself. Departure Times: Stowe Village Inn: Promptly at 3:00 PM Outbound Stowe: Promptly at 3:20 PM The shuttle will pick up outside the front entrance of each hotel’s lobby. Please be ready a few minutes before the pick-up time. Shuttle Return Times: Shuttles will be available to return guests to the Stowe Village Inn and Outbound Stowe at 10:00pm and 11:00pm. If you plan to attend the after-party at the Matterhorn, shuttles will be provided, and guests will be returned to all hotels when the after-party is over at 1:30 am.

Attire?

The dress code for Saturday will be formal attire. For a guide on what to wear, please feel free to copy and paste this link: https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire Please keep in mind that the reception is planned for outside in a grassy area (so bring on the block heels!) For the welcome party on Friday, please wear summer cocktail attire but you can keep it more casual, no jackets or ties needed!

Where should I stay?
Answer
We have room blocks for guests at the Stowe Village Inn and Outbound Stowe. You can find links to book rooms at our wedding rate in the Accommodations tab of the website. There are various alternative lodging options in the Stowe area including a range of hotels and Airbnbs. Please keep in mind that there are typically no Ubers/Lyfts in Stowe and we are only able to provide shuttles to the wedding venue from Outbound Stowe and the Stowe Village Inn, so we encourage considering lodging options within walking distance of these two hotels.

Not reliably! There is parking at the Trapp Family Lodge, but we encourage staying within walking distance of shuttles.
