The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

The temperature is usually around 79°F/26°C. Virginia autumns are absolutely gorgeous! It’s pretty warm with a cool breeze. The leaves may start to change around this time too. If mother nature is on our side, you’re in for a treat!
Both the ceremony and the reception will be at the Poplar Springs Manor. It’s only a 30 step commute from the ceremony to reception. Not bad, eh?
The ceremony will hopefully be held outside (fingers crossed on the weather), and the reception will be inside.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home or you can bring to our reception. We’ve created an online registry which you can find under the registry section.
Here’s our rough itinerary: 5:00 pm: Guests Arrive 5:30 pm: Ceremony Begins 7:00 pm: Reception Begins 11:00 pm: Slip and Slide Exit
Please arrive at 5 pm so that we can get you a glass of champagne, seated, etc. We can't wait to see you!!!
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you hold off until the reception. We would love for everyone to be present at our ceremony and our photographer to be the only one with a camera in hand. After that’s over, click away and please you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #MegsOffTheMarket so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
