Dad's Donut & Bakery Shop
Take a walk down Marine Ave, the main street of Balboa Island, to see the shops. Make sure to stop and get a frozen banana or ice cream at Dad's! We love this place!
Fun Zone Arcade & Game Room
Take the ferry from Balboa Island to the fun zone and also walk along the boardwalk.
Fashion Island
Lots of shopping and good restaurants for an afternoon of fun. The Great Maple is a good option.
Disneyland Park
Of course, Disneyland is not too far away to make a day trip!
Crystal Cove State Park
This is the location were we got engaged! You can spend time on the beach or hike with some stellar views. There are also two restaurants, The Beachcomber and The Shake Shack, that we enjoy.
In-N-Out Burger
No trip to California would be complete without a stop at our local In'n'out.
R+D Kitchen
This is one of our all time favorite restaurants. Their French Dip and Crispy sandwich are our top choices. With a limited menu, there isn't one thing that isn't fabulous!
Bluewater Grill
If you want some great fresh fish, we would suggest this place right on the water!
Buddha's Favorite
Want some sushi? Here is another option right on the water on Lido Peninsula.
Cannery Seafood of the Pacific
This is a more expensive option that is really intimate and has great food!
Beachcomber Cafe
This restaurant is right on the beachfront of Crystal Cove. You can walk over and have great food with great views.
The Bungalow Restaurant
This is a restaurant in the heart of Corona Del Mar, a little beach neighborhood in Newport Beach. There are many cute shops and restaurants. Even though it is winter time, it might also be fun to take a walk down to Corona beach as well for a beach stroll.
Crystal Cove Shake Shack
Right off of the Pacific Coast Highway is this little gem looking right out over the ocean. It is right above Crystal Cove beach with the opportunity to hike if you desire and finish with a nice burger and shake as a reward!
