Drew asked me to go wine tasting overlooking the Bay for our first date. Who could say no to that? Not me! We quickly bonded over being mutual transplants to the bay area. Despite the great views, opportunity, and travel, we both missed a sense of community. I rolled my eyes when Drew tried to explain how my job was like engineering the brain. He laughed when I had misunderstood views of South Carolina. I bragged about all Michigan had to offer, claiming my midwest roots make me who I am. We debated Big 10 football vs. ACC football. Wine tasting long completed, we sat and chatted about our first year living in California. We fully took advantage of finding that special someone to share our favorite activities with. Drew took me rock climbing. I took him kayaking. We went to the Clemson Alumni bar where I proudly wore my Michigan State Green. Two years later, adventure buddy turned into best friend. We still enjoy checking off our California bucket list, but more than anything we enjoy life together side by side. And now we both rock green and orange on fall Saturdays.

The last two years have been full of memories and adventures together. Here are some of our favorites: Hiking, snorkeling, sailing and jumping off waterfalls in Hawaii Countless ski weekends to Lake Tahoe Pyramid Point and tours of Northern Michigan Four wheeling on the Sand Dunes along the California coast with Alaina and Nick Skydiving over the Monterey Bay and our future wedding location Backpacking in Yosemite National Park with Angie Hiking and beer tasting in Portland MSU tailgates Tour of the Carolinas and a weekend away in Charleston Snowboarding in Colorado with Danielle and family Cheering on Clemson in the National Championship Game Hummer rides and hikes at Arches and Canyonland National Parks with Donny and Kelly **cheers to many more to come**

Tahoe or Bust Excited for our first summer weekend in Tahoe, we left the bay at 6 am and headed to the trail head. Mount Tallac stood before us-3,300 feet elevation gain over 10 miles. It was quite a trek, but soon we were at the peak overlooking South Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay. I could not think of a more beautiful place for Drew to pop the question. Tahoe will forever hold a special place in our hearts

Megan and Drew reside in San Jose, CA and continue to explore everything California has to offer. Visitors always welcome because adventuring and wine tasting are more fun with our loved ones!
