Door County is a series of small towns on the Wisconsin peninsula of Lake Michigan! All of our wedding events will take place in the town of Sister Bay, but we encourage you to explore outside of Sister Bay during the weekend as well (our other favorite areas include Fish Creek and Egg Harbor)! Check out more information about Door County here: https://www.doorcounty.com/
Northern Haus is an amazing venue located in Sister Bay, Wisconsin! This venue is nearly brand new and includes both an outdoor area for the ceremony and a beautiful barn for an indoor reception. Our whole wedding (ceremony and reception) will take place at this venue. You can learn more about it here: https://www.northernhaus.com/
Believe it or not, when we reached out to our venue about a week after we got engaged in March 2022, they were already completely booked on every Saturday from May - October, 2023. We knew we wanted to get married at this venue, however, so we eventually came around to the idea of a Friday wedding and now we love the idea! The Northern Haus owner, Sara, let us know that Fridays are a great option for a destination weddings because, in most cases, guests will take a day off regardless and it allows for everyone to gather on Saturday or enjoy the area exploring! We can't wait for you all to spend the weekend in Door County exploring after our wedding is over!

While we wish all of your little ones could join us, we are only allowing for children who are a part of our families to attend our wedding. Please let us know if this would impact your ability to come to our wedding so we can discuss potential options with you.
