No need to RSVP just yet - this is your official heads-up to save the date! We’ll be sending out invitations in October, and that’s when the RSVP section on this website will open. Once you’ve received your invite, you’ll be able to pop back here and let us know if you can make it. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We’ve reserved rooms for our guests at Dartington Estate from Friday 9th April to Sunday 11th April. You can find more details about the estate here: https://www.dartington.org/stay To book, simply call reception on 01803 847000 or email guestservices@dartington.org Double room: £175 per night, including breakfast (served on-site at the White Hart restaurant) If Dartington Estate isn’t quite your thing, no worries at all - there are lots of other nearby hotels and Airbnb options.
Absolutely - they’re part of the celebration too! We can’t wait to see them on the dance floor; tiny moves very much encouraged !!
It’s about a 25-minute journey from Dartington Estate to Modbury Church. Transport isn’t included, but we’re hoping to help match people who may need a lift. When RSVPs open in October, there will be an option on the form to offer or request a lift. We’d be very grateful if you’re able to tick the car-share option, as it will really help everyone get there smoothly.
Please arrive at St George’s Church by 12:30pm
A bit of both! The ceremony is indoors, followed by outdoor canapés and drinks. If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ve got an indoor backup. Dinner and the rest of the evening will be indoors.
Our wedding colour palette is white and green, so we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing these colours where possible. But most importantly, choose something you feel confident & comfortable in ❤️
Dartington Estate has free parking on site, and there are electric vehicle charging points available For St.George's church, you can park either: 1) Church Car Park: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DHtdnaRdNZYMQYwU6 2) Long Stay Car Park: https://maps.app.goo.gl/K7AAyws4Wx7aSxgk7, which also has two electric charging spots. 3) Street parking within the streets of Modbury
Only names on the invitations are able to attend due to a limited capacity at the venue
Please take as many pictures and videos throughout the day! However, we do ask that people avoid taking photos during the main church ceremony as we do have our wonderful photographer shooting
As much as we’re dog lovers ourselves, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all our guests, we kindly ask that no dogs or other pets attend our wedding. Only registered assistance animals will be permitted.
