You're cordially invited to our second annual Meghna + Carlo wedding celebration! We hope to make this an annual event... just kidding! We had postponed our 2020 wedding due to COVID-19. Fortunately, we still tied the knot on our original wedding date at an intimate ceremony on a stunning late summer day. We are looking forward to celebrating with everyone this year!

Meghna and Carlo met in their high school French club - Meghna was President and Carlo was Treasurer. One day, after running a club-related errand together, Carlo gathered the courage to ask Meghna to join him for dinner - to which she said "No, thanks"! In her defense, she didn't realize it was a date and her mom had her favorite dish, Dal Bhat, waiting for her at home. Luckily, Carlo was persistent; when he asked Meghna to Senior Prom, she said yes!

Meghna and Carlo attended college two hours apart and talked almost every day. After graduation, Carlo joined Meghna in Washington DC, and their relationship grew and flourished! They enjoyed dinners at the Georgetown Waterfront, late nights dancing on U Street, and dates at the Smithsonian museums. They loved exploring their neighborhood - you could find them at Trivia Night at the local bar every Wednesday! At the start of 2019, they moved back to New Jersey to be closer to their family and friends.

We had rented a cabin in the Catskill Mountains with a group of friends. To our surprise, we were greeted with an unexpected late-April snow storm! Nevertheless, Carlo was insistent that we hike, despite Meghna's suggestion to spend the day indoors playing card games! We started hiking up the snowy and slippery trail and stopped for pictures at a beautiful waterfall. Carlo got down on one knee, Meghna cried tears of joy! They popped some champagne and returned to the cabin to celebrate with friends!
